INDIVIDUAL PERSONAL AND ACCIDENT.
Update: Yes this covers you while competing in a GAA competition.
This policy will provide a benefit to the licensed GAA member sustaining injury whilst participating in the Grappling Arts as well as providing indemnity for your legal liability for damages. This includes claimant legal costs arising out of accidental injury to any person accidental loss or damage to third party property nuisance and trespass and member to member liability.

Instructor Indemnity
Instructors must be Members.
This policy provides an indemnity to an instructor for liability
arising from their instruction, demonstration or supervision of Martial
Arts activity including legal defence costs.
Important
All persons, who teach or supervise, must arrange this cover
(minimum age at application is 18 years ). All instructors must have a
recognised qualification or confirm black belt or equivalent has been
obtained and be connected to a club or association.
Available limits:
LIMIT of indemnity £2,000,000:
Premium £80 per annum
LIMIT of indemnity £5,000,000:
Premium £95 per annum
LIMIT of indemnity £10,000,000:
Premium £115 per annum
This policy will provide a benefit to an instructor sustaining
injury during the course of their Martial Arts Activity only. Enhanced
benefits for instructors with no other occupation

(for promoters - not individuals)
Open Tournament cover for GAA recognised Organisations and Events. Includes extensions of cover for Open tournaments involving persons not licenced by GAA.

Designed for travel abroad for training and competitions.
Competitive premiums with options for Europe only or World- wide cover and liability for training and competitions. Full details of the cover and premiums are available on request.
Travel with GAA assumes more than one person entering. Consequently the first person cost is £35 there after the costs are as below.

Club
Many Instructors and clubs give a free class as a trial. However these trial students are not covered. If anything happens - the club, the venue or the instructor get's stuck with the problem. If your club becomes a member we give you two temporary insured memberships which roll to each new trial member. These temporary members get the full benefit of the individual insurance as mentioned above.
